ABOUT RAYNEE

Raynee has a passion for reading and literature and loves talking about books with anyone who will indulge her. She enjoys adding titles to her friends’ TBR lists and getting recommendations from them in return. She reads a bit of everything, but has a preference for fantasy, romance, and mystery/thrillers. Sometimes, she will pick up a young adult fantasy if the plot seems intriguing enough, but she tends to stick to adult. Raynee is a mood reader and will only read and post reviews of books she wants to read. That said, she loves recommendations!

Of course, one can’t love books without experiencing the joys of going to book stores and attending the events specially designed for book lovers!

It only takes a glance at the reviews and comments on book review sites and social media to know that everybody has different tastes in literature. One person’s five-star rating is another person’s DNF (did not finish). Raynee’s goal is to provide honest reviews for the books, events, and places she experiences, while also showing an appreciation for differences in tastes and opinions. That’s why reviews will typically include a recommendation to certain readers based on their reading style and what they look for in their books or event experiences.

Raynee recently relocated from the cold midwest to Texas with her adorable Collie/Australian Shepherd, Stella, and her ever-judgmental large black cat, Edgar.
